It’s taking shape!

From above, you can see the Bridge Builder Communities vision becoming reality—the community building, 26 tiny homes, and a place intentionally designed to change lives.

We’re just a few months away from welcoming young adults who have aged out of foster care into a community built to provide more than housing—it’s built to provide hope, stability, opportunity, and family.

The construction may be coming to an end soon, but the transformation is just beginning. ❤️

And this is where we need you most. Help us build what happens after the buildings are finished—the programs, support, mentorship, and community that will help these young adults thrive.

The homes are almost ready. Now let’s help prepare the lives that will be lived inside them.

Partnership in Action with Augusta University!

We’re excited about our growing partnership with Augusta University and the opportunity to give students real-world experience while strengthening the work of Bridge Builder Communities.

Our Board Member Martin Harvey, owner of Recurring Marketing, is working closely with Augusta University students to redesign our Case for Support from start to finish — selecting the paper, developing the design, exploring book styles, and presenting their recommendations for the direction we should take.

Students are experiencing both sides of the process: the creativity of great design and the business strategy behind bringing an idea to life.

This is what partnership looks like — learning, creating, and building something meaningful together.

Meet Our Community Connector: Delaney Chesnick!

Bridge Builder Communities is excited to welcome Delaney Chesnick to our team as our new Development Manager!

Delaney is a community-minded professional who brings experience in development, strategic marketing, nonprofit fundraising, campaign ex*****on, and relationship building. A graduate of Georgia Southern University with a degree in Public Relations, she combines creative storytelling with a genuine passion for connecting people with causes that matter.

In her role as Development Manager—and our “Community Connector”—Delaney will help strengthen the relationships that fuel our mission, deepen community engagement, and create meaningful connections with the donors, partners, and supporters who make the work of Bridge Builder Communities possible.

Delaney is also actively connected throughout the Augusta community, including through local arts and young professional networks.

We’re excited to welcome Delaney to the Bridge Builder family and look forward to the connections, partnerships, and impact ahead! 💙🏡

🚧 CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: Something BIG is taking shape! 🏡✨

The Lowe’s team is on the ground at Bridge Builder Communities, and the pre-construction transformation is officially underway!

Our Pod Plazas are loading… ⏳🔨🌿

These spaces will become more than just another part of our campus—they’ll be places for our young adults to connect, relax, gather, and build community right outside their homes.

We’re excited to watch this next phase come to life and incredibly grateful to Lowe’s for investing their time, resources, and hands-on support into the Bridge Builder mission. 💙

What an incredible honor. I’m so grateful to the Augusta Partnership for Children for naming me the 2026 Difference Maker of the Year.

Being relatively new to the nonprofit space, it means so much to be recognized by an organization with such a long history of serving our community—and by so many peers who are right there in the trenches making Augusta better every day.

I also know this recognition doesn’t belong to me alone. I proudly receive it on behalf of the entire Bridge Builder Communities team, our board, volunteers, partners, supporters, and everyone who is part of the Bridge Builder family.

We’re doing this work together, and I’m grateful for every person helping us build a stronger village for the young people we serve. ❤️🏠
