📣 Welcome Khayamandi’s newest board member, Mike Ikeler!

A physician with more than 30 years of experience, Mike has been involved in international medical missions since medical school. A longtime friend and supporter of Khayamandi, he visited Knysna in 2025 to see the ministry firsthand. Mike brings valuable missions experience, global connections, and a passion for teaching and mentoring others. We are grateful to have him on the Khayamandi board!

Thoughtful Thursday: More than just a game. 🏐✨

When you look at a netball court, you see fast passes, strategic intercepts, and incredible teamwork. At New Life Preschool (Midlothian, VA) and New Life Preschool (Arua, Uganda), little hearts are learning a beautiful lesson — that God’s love reaches across the world. 🌍❤️

These “One New Life USA/Uganda” bracelets are more than just bracelets. They are a reminder that children in Virginia and Uganda are connected through friendship, prayer, and faith.

As these young students pray for one another, they are discovering that even at a young age, they can encourage, love, and care for children they may never meet this side of heaven. What a beautiful picture of the Body of Christ. ✨🙏

Because of the clean water systems provided through Khayamandi, children are learning healthy hygiene habits like washing their hands before meals — something so simple, yet so life-changing. Cleaner hands mean fewer illnesses, healthier classrooms, and children who are better able to learn and thrive. ❤️

At Lukhanyiso Safe House in Knysna, children are surrounded by love, care, encouragement, and the feeling of being part of a family. That sense of belonging helps restore hope, confidence, and security in a child’s life.

In Rhino Refugee Camp, food is never guaranteed.

For some children at New Life ECDC, the daily bowl of porridge they receive at school may be their only meal that day.
