Specific service programs may be available for individuals with disabilities, individuals who are homeless, and those who are economically challenged. Helms Career Education also works with returning v

The goal as with all Goodwill programs is to assist individuals with the skills and resources required to garner and retain competitive employment. Big News for Literacy, Language, and Career Success!

We’re excited to share that Goodwill of Middle Georgia & the CSRA has received a $10,000 grant from the Dollar General Literacy Foundation (The Yellow Glasses Project) to expand our English Language Learner programs through Goodwill Career Education!

With stronger language skills, participants gain the confidence to pursue better jobs, grow their careers, and build brighter futures for their families. In just one year, this program has tripled in size, proving that when education meets opportunity, lives change.

Thanks to this grant, we’ll offer more class levels and help even more people take their next big step toward success at work and in life.

Because when people can read, write, and communicate confidently, they don’t just find jobs—they build careers and strengthen our community.
