The Rotary Club of Martinez-Evans club meets at Helms College Wednesdays at noon, except for the last Wednesday of the month.

🌱 Last Thursday, Martinez-Evans Rotary had the pleasure of hearing from Zach Kelehear, Vice Provost of Augusta University and bee keeper.

Zach shared an engaging presentation on the important role bees, pollinators, and other beneficial insects play in keeping our gardens and environment thriving. 🐝🌼 It was a great reminder that some of the biggest impacts come from the smallest creatures around us.

Thank you, Zach, for taking the time to educate and inspire our club! Rotary is always grateful for speakers who help us learn more about our community, our environment, and the ways we can all make a difference.

What a fantastic day at the Martinez-Evans Rotary Club Big Car, Truck & Bike Show at the Columbia County Fairgrounds! 🚗🏍️🔥

Thanks to the incredible support from our sponsors, participants, vendors, volunteers, and guests, we proudly raised $6,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Augusta to help support local youth and impactful community programs right here in the CSRA.

From classic cars and custom trucks to amazing bikes and great fellowship, the event was filled with horsepower, hometown spirit, and perfect weather. We are grateful to everyone who came out to make this event such a success.

A special thank you to all of our sponsors and community partners for helping us give back while bringing people together for a great cause.

The Martinez-Evans Rotary Club is proud to continue serving the Augusta and Columbia County communities through service projects, fundraising, and local outreach.

Good morning! The Martinez-Evans Rotary Foundation will only accept registration and payment for the May 9, 2026 Car Show in person at the registration table on the day of the event.

Please do not send payment to any individual or entity claiming to collect registration fees through other methods, as unauthorized scammers have attempted to take advantage of participants.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and support as we work to protect our attendees and community.

Thank you to Cliff Bennett and Mary Klingler for welcoming the Rotary Club of Martinez-Evans to WRDW’s Morning Mix to talk about our upcoming Car Show benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Augusta and other local charities.

Current Rotary Club President Rogderick Nixon joined past president Rachel to share more about the event and the impact these funds will have throughout our community.

We are excited to bring the community together for a great event filled with amazing cars, fellowship, and an opportunity to support organizations making a real difference in our community.

We hope to see everyone this Saturday, May 9th at the Columbia County fairgrounds, supporting a great cause. The event starts at 9:30 AM and last until 2 PM. Admission is free.

We had an incredible Rotary meeting at the Flowing Wells Theater as we welcomed guest speaker Georgia State Representative Rob Clifton, who spoke to the club about what lawmakers are doing at the state level.

We are also excited to officially welcome Cade Downes, Financial Advisor with Edward Jones, as the newest member of the Martinez-Evans Rotary Club. Cade’s passion for helping others and commitment to our community make him a fantastic addition to our Rotary family.

Wednesday, the Martinez-Evans Rotary Club welcomed Scott Johnson, Columbia County Manager, for an exciting update on the massive cloud storage facility coming to White Oak Technology Park in Appling.

Scott shared how this advanced tech project will bring high-paying jobs, long-term investment, and major growth to our community’s technology sector. Columbia County is positioning itself as a leader in digital infrastructure, innovation, and economic development right here at home.

Kaitlin will share how AWP is strengthening the CSRA and beyond by connecting veterans, families, caregivers, and local organizations to resources that foster resilience, purpose, and life beyond the battlefield.
