✨ Refusing to heed godly counsel places us on a pathway outside of our destiny. Each of us has a heart that is subject to being deceived. That is why counsel is so important—so that someone can objectively evaluate the situation and respond from a biblical perspective.

✨When we think of sexual violence against girls and women, we tend to think of outsiders, and not someone that is the partner or spouse.

✨Intimate partner sexual assault is more likely than stranger or acquaintance assault to cause physical injury.

✨Women who are sexually abused by intimate partners suffer severe and long-lasting physical and mental health problems, similar to those of other r**e victims. They have higher rates of depression and anxiety than women who were either r**ed by a non-intimate partner or physically but not sexually abused by an intimate partner.

✨Having a strong support system is crucial for individuals who have experienced trauma. It can help them feel validated, understood, and less alone in their struggles.

✨Support from loved ones, mental health professionals, and support groups can provide a safe space for individuals to process their emotions and heal from their trauma.

✨Without support, individuals may feel overwhelmed, isolated, and unable to cope with their experiences.
