Our 2026 Junior Sewers program was another great success. Every year we host 2 sessions of Junior quilt making, our students design and sew their quilts to donate to a child. This years quilts are headed to Guatemala, serving the needs of children recused from various situations. We would like to acknowledge all the people who have donated sewing supplies, especially fabrics.

Sixty-eight boys and girls made 104 quilts in two week-long sessions in June at Auburn Grace Community Church (AGCC).

Sewers & Rippers would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas. The holiday season is a time of joy, but for some a time of personal difficulty. We want to to remind you of the treasured gift of this season , the gift of Salvation through the birth of Christ our Savior. We pray that you have accepted this free gift no matter where you are in life. There is nothing that can separate us from the Love God has for us. Blessings to all.

Another great annual holiday craft fair event in the books. We appreciate your efforts in sharing our event page, liking and following us on facebook. Your promotional support is appreciated. We are always amazed at the high quality and creativity of the handmade gifts, homemade jams and treats, and beautifully sewn quilts. It’s a great event to start your holiday shopping. I have to add that the amazing soup and salad lunch adds the perfect touch to a day out shopping with your friends or family.

We are so excited to share with you this year’s quilts for the annual Craft Fair Quilt Raffel. Tickets are selling
$1 each, or $5 for 6 Drawing held on Saturday October 25 at 1pm. You do not need to be present to win.

Hello Followers of Sewers & Rippers June 2025 marked our 20th anniversary of Jr. Sewers. Thank you to all those students who participated this year. We are also grateful to everyone who volunteered to help make this event successful.
Each student picks out the fabric squares and layout design before sewing. They also write a note to the child who receives the quilt they made. If you have any questions, or desire to participate next year please let us know. Most of the fabrics we use are donated, if you have any unwanted fabric to donate please call us @
