As most of you have heard, we closed our office across from the VA Clinic in AUburn but we are still around! We have our transitional housing facility for veterans, located in Auburn, and continue to serve veterans with whatever they may need! Please give us a call if you need any resources, to apply to the transitional housing or just to find out more about what we provide! 530-900-1717

⚓️ Happy 250th Birthday, U.S. Navy! 🇺🇸

For 250 years, the Navy has upheld the highest traditions of service and sacrifice — protecting our nation with honor, courage, and commitment.

Today, Victory Village proudly salutes all who have worn the uniform of the United States Navy.

🏡 Supporting Transitional Housing in Auburn

Victory Village has applied for HHAP funding through HRCS Placer County to help supplement the cost of operating our transitional housing program in Auburn.

While the VA covers part of the expenses, it doesn’t fund the program in full. This additional support is critical to keep doors open, beds available, and services running for the veterans who depend on us.

At Victory Village, we believe no veteran should face homelessness. With community partnerships and continued support, we can ensure Auburn’s transitional housing remains a lifeline for those who served.

📣 Did you know?
Victory Village serves veterans across 8 Northern California counties — from Mariposa to Calaveras, Amador to Placer, El Dorado to Nevada, and beyond.

Whether it’s housing support, case management, outreach, or transitional programs, our team (made up mostly of veterans themselves) is committed to ensuring that no veteran is left behind.

Every county we serve strengthens our network, reminding us that while each community is unique, the mission remains the same: treating the invisible wounds of war and walking alongside veterans on their journey to stability.

🇺🇸 Did You Serve in the Military?
So did most of our staff and the Board of Directors at Victory Village!

We know firsthand the challenges of transitioning from military to civilian life, because we’ve walked that path ourselves. That’s why we’re passionate about serving veterans and their families—with understanding, respect, and experience that only comes from having been there.

At Victory Village, you’re not just meeting staff—you’re connecting with fellow veterans who are committed to lifting each other up.

💪 Veterans helping veterans—it’s who we are.

🧭 Cultural Competency Starts Within

At Victory Village, cultural competency is more than a standard — it’s a daily practice rooted in consistency, kindness, and mission alignment across our entire organization.

We are committed to:

✅ Ongoing training for all staff — ensuring every team member is equipped to serve with cultural awareness and trauma-informed care
✅ Consistency across departments — so veterans experience dignity and respect from first contact to follow-up
✅ Mission-centered operations, from case management to fiscal oversight — because integrity matters at every level
✅ Treating each other with kindness, understanding that internal culture shapes external impact

We don’t just practice cultural competency when serving veterans.
We practice it with each other — in meetings, emails, budgets, and beyond.

Because the mission isn’t just what we do.
It’s how we do it. 💙

🏡 Victory Village is looking for housing!

Do you know of a 5-bedroom house for rent in our region? We’re seeking a home to expand our transitional housing program for veterans.

🔑 What we prioritize:
• Security – Safe environments are essential.
• Sobriety - Residents must maintain sobriety
• Monitoring – Case Managers and staff provide oversight, guidance, and support.

✨ Why it matters:
Stable housing is the foundation for self-sufficiency. By opening your property to veterans, you’re not just renting a house—you’re helping those who served our country successfully transition to civilian life.

💙 Victory Village provides case management and wraparound supportive services to ensure veterans maintain stability and success.

If you or someone you know has a 5-bedroom or more available, please reach out today! 📲
