If you've visited the Ranch recently, you've probably noticed a burst of color welcoming you as you pull onto the property. Thanks to these wonderful flowers, and the hard work of Michelle and our incredible team of volunteers, the Ranch is looking especially vibrant and inviting this season.

These thoughtful touches help create a warm, welcoming environment for every child, family, volunteer, and visitor who comes through our gates.

Wednesday Devotional: Trusting the One Who Holds the Reins

Scripture: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."
Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust can be difficult.

We want to know the outcome before we take the next step. We want answers before making decisions. We want certainty before moving forward. Yet trust rarely grows in places of certainty. Trust grows when we choose to move forward even when we cannot see the entire path ahead.

At the Ranch, we often see this lesson through our horses. A horse is naturally aware of its surroundings and sensitive to potential danger. Yet when a horse learns that its handler is trustworthy, it begins to relax. It no longer feels the need to control every situation because it knows someone is guiding and protecting it.

Our relationship with God can look much the same.

Life often presents us with situations we do not understand. We face uncertainty, disappointment, unexpected changes, and unanswered questions. In those moments, God does not always provide a detailed map of what comes next. Instead, He invites us to trust Him one step at a time.

Trust is not pretending everything is easy. Trust is choosing to believe that God is faithful, even when the road ahead is unclear. It is placing our fears, worries, and plans into His hands and allowing Him to guide us forward.

Today, whatever uncertainty you may be facing, remember that God sees the path ahead even when you cannot. The One who created you, loves you, and walks beside you is worthy of your trust.

What began as a dream to create a place where children, teens, and families could find healing, hope, and belonging has grown into a community that continues to change lives every day. Through your passion, perseverance, and willingness to follow a calling, so many have experienced the unique connection that happens between people, horses, nature, and hope.

Thank you for the countless hours, the sacrifices, the prayers, and the unwavering belief that every person deserves a place where they are seen, valued, and loved.

"Image of Hope Ranch is where hope began for me."

Those simple words carry so much meaning.

When many people think about supporting the Ranch, they see the horses. And while our horses play an incredible role in what happens here, they are only part of the story.

Behind every session is a child learning to trust again. A teenager finding confidence. A family discovering healing. A person who walks onto the property carrying burdens they never expected to share and leaves knowing they are not alone.

One participant recently shared that the Ranch became the place where hope began for them. That is why we do what we do.

Every gift, every volunteer hour, and every act of support helps create more moments like this. You aren't just helping care for horses. You're helping create a place where lives are changed, hearts are healed, and hope takes root.

What a sweet weekend at Image of Hope Ranch!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Spencerville Chapter 386, Order of the Eastern Star, our volunteers and staff sold an amazing 300 dozen donuts during this recent fundraiser.

We are so grateful to the Spencerville Chapter 386 for organizing and supporting this event, to everyone who purchased donuts, to the donut lovers who stopped by, and to the many volunteers who helped make it all happen.

Every donut purchased helps support the mission of Image of Hope Ranch and the children, teens, and families we serve.

Thank you for showing up, lending a hand, and making this fundraiser such a tremendous success. We couldn't do it without you!

Donut Fundraiser Pickup Reminder!

Thank you to everyone who supported our Donut Fundraiser! We can't wait to see you this Saturday between 9AM and 2PM as you pick up your order.

As you arrive at the Ranch, please help us keep everyone safe by driving slowly and watching for pedestrians, volunteers, animals, and other guests on the property.
