Hello everyone!

We are excited to offer some fun opportunities this summer! Come join us as we learn about trees native to Georgia as we hike Tallulah Gorge, compete in classic field day games, and create entries for the National Fair in October!

These activities are open to students in 4th-12th grade. Lunch will be provided during Field Day and Fair Day, and students will be asked to bring a picnic lunch on the hike. All events will begin and end at 1258 Criswell Rd, Monroe GA 30655.

We are proud to announce our newest Master 4-H'er, Gabriela! Gabriela placed 1st as an Individual Senior Competitor (9th-12th grade students) at the State Archery Competition in the Compound division. Master Status is the highest achievement one can earn during their time in 4-H, and we are beyond happy to see Gabriela's hard work pay off!

"4 Days for 4-H" update!

Thank you for supporting our program during this campaign! We exceeded our goal of 24 donations with a total of 39 gifts! Our local programs wouldn't exist without support from the community, so we thank you all for helping us "make the best better" here in Walton County.

Welcome to day 3 of the "4 days for 4-H" campaign!

Today we're highlighting our Senior 4-H Member, Grace. Grace has participated in 4-H since 5th grade, and has competed in the "Workforce Preparation" category of our public speaking competition for the last two years. After she graduates in May, Grace will go on to serve as a 4-H Camp Counselor at Wahsega 4-H center, where she will spend her summer leading exciting activities, like ziplining or stream ecology, for 4-H'ers across the state! She will also be representing Walton County at the state level with her presentation on workforce preparation!

Exciting news!

Today is the first day of our "$4 for 4-H" campaign! We are asking donors to give $4 to Walton County 4-H to help support our local programs and scholarships! Our goal is to color Walton County green on the state map by receiving a minimum of 24 gifts. To help us reach our goal, use the link below, select your donation amount, then select "Walton" from the "designation" menu.

ATTENTION: This event is now full and will no longer accept new registrations.

Attention 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students! Join us for a great weekend in the north Georgia mountains! Complete workshops, enjoy the high ropes course, play in the waterfall, and participate in the annual glow in the dark egg hunt!

The event will be held at Wahsega 4-H Center from April 25th-26th. Registration for the event is $90, which includes lodging, transportation, and meals (except for lunch on the way home).

We can't wait!

Calling all 9th-12th grade students! Join us for a fun weekend at Rock Eagle 4-H Center for Senior Conference! Complete community service projects, explore college and career opportunities, and enjoy a formal dance at the lakeside pavilion!

The event is April 11th-12th. The registration fee is $90, which includes lodging, meals, and transportation. Registration will close on March 27th at 5 P.M.
