DAF Day is almost here!

Next Thursday, October 8, donors across the country will use their Donor-Advised Funds to make a difference in the causes they care about most.

At Girls on the Run Georgia, 76% of participants receive financial assistance, helping ensure every girl has access to life-changing lessons in confidence, connection, and healthy habits—regardless of her family's ability to pay.

A grant from your DAF can help provide:
💙 Program scholarships
💙 Running shoes and gear
💙 Healthy snacks
💙 Transportation to the season-ending 5K

When girls have the support they need, they discover just how strong, capable, and limitless they can be.

We’re excited to celebrate and honor our Alumna Honoree, Taylor Denise Richardson, at this year’s Sneaker Soirée!

Taylor’s journey with Girls on the Run began as a participant in Jacksonville, Florida, where she discovered confidence, perseverance, friendship and a belief in herself that she has carried far beyond the finish line.

Today, Taylor is a graduate student at Morehouse School of Medicine, aspiring physician and astronaut, STEM advocate, entrepreneur and community servant. Through initiatives like Take Flight with a Book, which has provided more than 50,000 books to young people, and her work encouraging girls to pursue STEM, Taylor continues to create opportunities for the next generation.

From GOTR girl to an advocate inspiring others to dream boldly, Taylor’s story is a true full-circle moment. We’re so excited to celebrate her and all of our incredible honorees on October 22!

This investment will help Girls on the Run Georgia continue creating meaningful opportunities for girls to build confidence, develop life skills and discover their limitless potential.

Thursday is the last day to register for our fall season!

This season, Girls on the Run participants in grades 3-5 will explore what it means to find the courage to share what’s in their hearts through our 'Hello, Bold Heart!' curriculum. Girls will practice using their voices with confidence, kindness and care while learning how to share their thoughts, listen to others and speak up for what matters to them.

Our middle school participants in grades 6-8 take part in Heart & Sole, where girls build confidence, strengthen friendships and explore the challenges and experiences that come with middle school alongside their teammates.

There’s still time to be part of the fall season. Register by this Thursday at 11:59 PM!
