We’re celebrating a new step in community development with the opening of the Bakery and Pastry Workshop in Culmí!

This workshop is giving young women the opportunity to learn a trade, develop valuable skills, and open doors to entrepreneurship and income generation.

Building on the work begun with our first group in Cuyamel, we’re reminded that vocational training is about more than learning a trade, it’s about planting opportunities that can transform families and strengthen communities.

Leadership is about influencing, inspiring, and helping our teams grow.

Part of the Predisan leadership team spent two days in training with David McAnally, creating space for learning, reflection, and meaningful growth.

Together, we explored the 4 Disciplines of effective leadership and reflected on the impact we have when we lead with purpose—positively influencing, inspiring, and developing the potential of others.

We left encouraged to lead with greater purpose, excellence, and a deeper commitment to serving our people and patients well.

Because true leadership isn’t just about achieving results, it’s about leaving the people around us better than we found them!

Through the strategic partnership between Predisan Christian Hospital and The Good Samaritan School, 300 children and teenagers from kindergarten through sixth grade received compassionate dental care.

Every treatment was an opportunity to improve oral health, build trust with children and parents, and remind these young people that their well-being matters. We were also blessed to welcome some of our donors, who toured our facilities and witnessed firsthand the impact of this beautiful project.

🎂✨ Turning Skills Into Smiles!

Yesterday, the Bakery Course students in Culmí put their skills into action by preparing delicious cakes to celebrate Children’s Day in Honduras and bring joy to children in their communities. ❤️

More than learning to bake, these students are gaining skills that can open doors to new opportunities, and discovering how their talents can become a source of joy for others.

Yesterday, their hands created more than cakes… they created smiles, shared love, and showed how an opportunity to learn can become a pathway to transforming lives.

What a beautiful gift from the Preventive Program! 🎉🍰
