With a comprehensive set of customized services, steady guidance, and strong advocacy, we enable refugees and other immigrants to realize their full potential and dreams as they build new lives in Georgia. Beginning with resettlement services and by keeping a strong focus on jobs, education, cultural integration, individual and female empowerment and building strong families, our specially designed programs provide proven pathways to self-sufficiency and success. By matching peoples’ unique individual assets with the opportunities available in the community, we help ensure that these new Americans develop and contribute their special skills and talents to strengthening the American workforce and helping Georgia thrive.

The need is urgent.

Our Community Food Box Drive provides families with more than just groceries. It offers comfort, dignity, and a sense of home during a time of transition.

Each box costs about $50 to fill and makes a direct impact on a family in our community.

A new Civic Pathways cohort is underway!

This year, we welcomed 20 participants with experiences and connections spanning Afghanistan, Benin, Canada, Chad, Guyana, Haiti, Kenya, Kurdistan in Northern Iraq, Myanmar, Somalia, South Korea, Ukraine, Vietnam, and Yemen.

While each participant brings a different story, perspective, and set of skills, they share a desire to contribute to their communities, grow as leaders, and serve others.

During our opening retreat, the cohort spent time building connections, identifying their leadership styles, exploring personal values, and discussing what values-based leadership can look like in their communities.

We were also grateful to have seven AmeriCorps members, including Inna Rose and Nodira Rakhimova, supporting the retreat, connecting with participants, and helping make the day a success.

We’re excited to see how this group learns from one another and puts their leadership into action in the months ahead.
