Love Downtown? Show it some love! 💙

Roll up your sleeves and join us for Lift Up Downtown on Thursday, October 22! We’re bringing neighbors, businesses, and volunteers together for a morning of community service to make Downtown Atlanta a little cleaner, greener, and more welcoming for everyone.

🌱 Sprucing up landscaping
🧹 Picking up litter
🎨 Painting and removing graffiti

This time, we’re focusing our efforts on Atlanta First United Methodist Church and the surrounding neighborhood.

💛 LET’S SHOW DOWNTOWN SOME LOVE! 💛

A little elbow grease goes a long way, and Downtown is calling on its good neighbors to roll up their sleeves! 🧤🌳🎨

Join us on Thursday, October 22, from 10 AM–12 PM for a City Cleanup & Beautification Day at Atlanta First United Methodist Church.

We’ll be getting our hands dirty with litter removal, mulching street curbs, and painting church walls. It’s a chance to pitch in, meet your neighbors, and leave Downtown a little better than we found it. Because a thriving city takes all of us!

☕ Coffee, safety equipment, and supplies provided. Just bring yourself and a can-do attitude!

🏈 Sunday, you can spot us at Mercedes-Benz Stadium cheering for our Atlanta Falcons

📍10/5 & 10/6 from 7:30 - 10 PM at The CTR Atlanta, we present Discordant Structures by Jill Frank (Jill Frank) curated by ASHA Advisory & Management in partnership with Downtown Atlanta Inc.’s MAP Rover.

The video will be projected onto the Centennial Olympic Park Dr. facade of The Center Atlanta, next to State Farm Arena.

Discordant Structures combines footage of cheerleading and rugby practices across Georgia. Moving between the two sports, the video follows young athletes through repetitive drills and moments of intense coordination, tracing the exchange between mental and physical strain, control and vulnerability. A conversation between two young athletes guides viewers toward larger questions of trust, authority, belonging.

⚫️ What’s the MAP Rover?
A public art projection program (on wheels!), Downtown Atlanta Inc.’s MAP Rover illuminates city buildings and unexpected places with digital artwork, film, and photography. This custom built mobile art projection (MAP) unit is outfitted with an interior control room and a 20,000 lumen projector at the top.
