What do
anti-displacement strategies
look like if those who are
at most risk are not
involved in the solutions ?
That’s one of the questions I asked members from Bay Area Regional Health Inequities Initiative & Kindred Futures .
I stood on the land that community &
I have declared is
OUR anti-displacement strategy.
One of my favorite things is to
walk the acre of land that according to a
Legacy Resident
“is just waiting on us.”
In the conversations about
“What are going to do in the these trying times” -
just know in the SWATS in a small 3rd space called The Ke’nekt
we ARE doing something &
the “What”
is 1 Acre for Change.
