It is clergy appreciation month and to celebrate Pastor Jason is taking some time away from the pulpit. While he is not preaching, the pulpit will be occupied by two dynamic leaders. Join us this Sunday as we welcome Retired Elder in Full Connection, Rev. Araminta Lett. On Sunday the 18th we will celebrate UMC Laity Sunday with our own Minister Winston Carhee Sr.

Today Calvary recognized our garden ministry volunteers for their hard work in creating the new reflection courtyard behind the church building. They are the embodiment of Colossians 3:23: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters."

There comes a moment when faith has to move beyond what you believe and become what you’re willing to confront. Like David we should be offended by anything that stands against our God. Sometimes faith says, “I’ll take on the fight.”
