🌼🌸 BLOSSOM 🌸🌼

Meet Blossom! She is a beautiful 4-year-old Toy Poodle who weighs 5 pounds.

Blossom is an absolute sweetheart! She is timid and shy around new people, but once she gets to know you, she will never leave your side. She is a true Velcro dog and the quintessential lap dog. She loves treats and a fun toy but most of all, she loves to be in your lap.

Blossom needs someone who will be patient and kind as she is still learning so much about the world around us. She needs a fenced-in yard and would do best with another confident dog to help show her the ropes! As soon as she comes out of her shell, you can see her s***ky side bloom! Like all flowers, Blossom needs time, love, and patience (and of course treats). 💛

💚 DAWSON 💚

Dawson is an adorable 13-year-old Yorkie. He weighs 9 pounds.

Dawson is a Yorkie that moonlights as a bunny. 🐰 He’s got the energy of a sweet young pup, and will show you how happy he is by how high he’s hopping through the house! He loves a good snuggle and will happily be your bathroom bodyguard. He is a little hard of hearing but you can easily get his attention with a soft clap or cough and he is learning a sign for sit. He loves short walks in this fall weather! 🍂

He would love to find a forever home where he can be his authentic snugglebunny self and get all the love he deserves! 🥰

🐾 💓 MUNCHKIN 💓🐾

Meet Munchkin! She is an adorable 1-year-old Shih Tzu! She weighs a little over 8 pounds.

Munchkin is a curious, sweet little girl. She warmed up quickly in her foster home, and enjoys all of the adults and teenagers she has met so far. Munchkin is the perfect combination of playful and snuggly. She loves to play fetch, but prefers to break it up into a few shorter sessions each day. In between rounds of fetch, she is happy to follow her person around, or curl up and nap (preferably with a fuzzy blanket). Munchkin is fascinated by birds, and likes to spend time outside watching them. She would be a great companion for neighborhood walks. More than anything, this little girl just wants a home where she can be with her people as they move about their day.

🩵🐾🩶 ANNATTO 🩶🐾🩵

Meet Annatto, a loving Shih Tzu mix who is 12+ years old and weighs 8 pounds. Annatto came to us after being found neglected and entering a local shelter scared, matted, in dire need of a dental, with severely irritated skin, and in need of some much-needed TLC. With regular medicated baths (thanks to his wonderful foster family) his skin has improved and he is feeling much better! ☺️🫶🏼

Anatto is looking for a quiet, comfortable place to spend his golden years. He is a pretty independent little guy. He loves having his own cozy space where he can nap and relax, but he also enjoys climbing into his person’s lap when he’s in the mood for some extra love. He gets so excited when his foster mom comes home, and his adorable little “puppy” face makes it pretty impossible not to smile and fall in love. 😍

Annatto is truly just a sweet old soul who deserves to spend the rest of his life feeling safe, comfortable, and loved. 🩵

💕 JOSIE 💕

Josie is a tiny Toy Poodle! She is 5 years old and weighs a whopping 4 pounds!

Josie may be small, but she has plenty of personality packed into that itty-bitty body. Josie is as sweet as can be and absolutely loves her people. She can be a tad nervous when she first meets someone or enters a new environment, but it doesn’t take her long to realize she’s safe. Once she warms up, her happy, playful personality comes shining through and she becomes a little bundle of energy! While Josie is perfectly content sharing her foster home with other dogs, she doesn’t pay much attention to them. Her main focus is her foster mom! 🥰 If Josie had it her way, she would be carried around, snuggled, loved on, and included in absolutely everything 24/7. She is definitely a little Velcro girl who wants to be wherever her favorite person is.
She loves attention and cuddles! She also enjoys showing off her playful side and has plenty of s***k for such a tiny little girl! ☺️

Josie is looking for a loving forever home where she can be spoiled, adored, and treated like the precious little princess she is. 💕

💜 IT’S $5 FRIDAY! 💜

This sweet older Poodle came into our care this week from a local county shelter, along with another dog who needed us. And as always, taking them in is just the beginning.

This week, another small Poodle also had a much-needed dental, and we have several more dentals already scheduled for next week. 🦷🐶 And honestly… the list goes on and on.

Rescue never stops. 💜
Every single day, we are paying for the dogs in our care. Food, medications, preventatives, veterinary care, supplies, and all of the little things that add up quickly. Even on the days we don’t have a new intake or a big medical emergency, our dogs still need to be cared for.

We are a small rescue, and we depend on donations to keep us going. The dogs in our care depend on us for everything, and we want to continue saying YES when a dog needs somewhere safe to go.

So today, we’re asking for a little help with our $5 Friday Fundraiser.
If just $5 is within your budget, it truly makes a difference. And if you’re able to give more, we are incredibly grateful for that too.

🩵 REMY 🩵

Remy is a sweet, lovable 3-month-old Border Terrier mix (best guess). He currently weighs 7 pounds.

Remy has a big personality and plenty of puppy energy! He’s a playful little guy who loves being around people and definitely enjoys having a buddy to keep him company. He loves to play, explore, and cuddle, and once he’s worn himself out, he’s always happy to have a lie down. Remy has wonderful with the other dogs, cats, and children in his foster home, making him a great fit for any family!

Remy is a happy, affectionate puppy who would thrive with a family that can give him plenty of love, playtime, and companionship! ❤️

🐾 $5 FRIDAY FOR LOLA 🐾

When Lola came into rescue, our plan was pretty straightforward: get this little senior girl spayed, have her dental done, and find her the best forever home possible. But as soon as we met her, we saw her ears and realized she would need more help than we anticipated…

Her ears are in horrible condition and she has clearly been dealing with significant discomfort for years. The condition of her ears is caused from recurring ear infections that went untreated. Our vet had us try prednisone to help reduce the swelling but unfortunately, it didn’t help. 😔

Today, Lola had her spay and dental surgery. This poor little girl needed a lot of dental work. In fact, Lola now has no teeth left. She did great through surgery, and while it’s heartbreaking to think about the pain she must have been in, we know she is going to feel SO much relief once her mouth has had time to heal.

Unfortunately, her ears are still a major concern. Our next step is getting Lola in to see a soft tissue surgeon to perform a TECA which will unfortunately render her deaf but will finally give her relief. She is the sweetest girl and currently has to wear a cone to stop her from scratching at her ears. 😭

So while Lola is recovering from today’s surgery, her medical journey is far from over. These expenses are adding up quickly so we are asking our amazing supporters to give $5 (or more!) to help with Lola’s vet bills.
