Because of your generosity, our Resource Closet continues to be filled with items that bring comfort, dignity, and support to children and families in our village. Every donation—big or small—makes a meaningful difference and reminds the families we serve that they are not alone.

Join us for a very special Caregiver Support Gathering on Friday, May 15th, in celebration of Mother’s Day! 💐

We’ll enjoy light refreshments, a simple craft, and a meaningful time together. We’re also excited to have Angela Holder from BodyBalance Well-Being joining us to share practical ways to manage and work through stress—plus she’ll be offering relaxing massages for those who are interested. 💆‍♀️

When we equip adults with knowledge, resources, and practical tools, we strengthen our village—and create brighter futures for our children. 💛

Join us on Thursday, May 14th at 6:00 PM as Sarah Kite from the UT Extension Office shares tips on:

💰 Feeding your family on a budget

Happy Mother’s Day from Foster Village East TN!
Today we celebrate every mom who loves, protects, and shows up — biological moms, foster moms, kinship caregivers, and every woman who stands in the gap for a child.
Your strength creates safety. Your compassion creates belonging. Your love changes stories. 💛

🩵April Recap 🩵

🩵 We provided 9 Welcome Packs to 6 families and fulfilled 10 special request items such as carseats, bunkbeds, mattresses, and crib.

🎳 We had 9 families (47 people) join us for a fun Family Day of Bowling at Classic Lanes in Athens! We also had 7 amazing volunteers help make this event possible.

🌻 We had 6 caregivers, 2 children, and 3 volunteers join us for our Caregiver Support Gathering.

🏌️‍♂️ We held our 3rd Annual Golf Tournament with 16 teams and 15 volunteers in attendance. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we raised $5,702!

✝️ We had a great turnout for our Church Leadership Meeting as local churches gathered to learn more about how they can support foster families in our community.

⛪️ We had 22 volunteers from The Greenhouse Church come serve at our Resource Center and help complete some much-needed projects around the building.

We are so thankful for every volunteer, donor, church, business, and family who supports the mission of Foster Village East TN. Because of you, foster families are seen, supported, and encouraged every single day. 💙
