Ashtabula Downtown Development Association Our mission is to lead, assist, and support activities that enhance the quality of life in the downtown Ashtabula community. Louis Supply Co.

Our mission is to lead, assist, and support activities that enhance the quality of life in the downtown community. The ADDA works closely with the City of Ashtabula, The Ashtabula Area Chamber of Commerce, area schools and other civic organizations who are dedicated to the revitalization and growth of the city of Ashtabula and surrounding regions. Our calendar has an ever-growing list of retail and community activities for all ages, and during all seasons. The ADDA is a seventy plus-member strong organization formed in 2004 to combine the efforts of business owners and concerned citizens to facilitate the growth and revitalization of Ashtabula’s downtown. The Ashtabula Downtown Development Association has been a member of Heritage Ohio since 2008, and is using the Main Street Approach to assist in it's revitalization and preservation efforts. Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Ashtabula Downtown Development Association (ADDA) Open For Business & Available Property Showcase yesterday! It was a productive evening, showing the available spaces in Downtown for future development, and we were glad to see so many entrepreneurs come to check out the storefronts and office spaces.

Thank you to our organization partners for bringing their expertise and answering questions from potential business owners. When we all come together, we can make great things happen in Downtown Ashtabula!

Ashtabula Downtown Development Association (ADDA) is proud to invite you to our Open For Business & Available Property Showcase TONIGHT, Thursday, October 8. From 3-7pm, the ADDA will be offering a tour shuttle, compliments of Richmond Transportation, to view vacant buildings and offices that are for lease or sale in Downtown Ashtabula. Along with the tour, the Ashtabula County District Library will be hosting various lenders, economic development business specialists, and city and county officials to answer questions and discuss ideas.

If you’re thinking of relocating, expanding, or opening a new business, this event is for you! Help us to continue the revitalization of Downtown Ashtabula and uplift Main Avenue.

For many people in Ashtabula, Jerry Sinkler Ford was where they purchased their first car right in Downtown Ashtabula.

Described as the county’s first “auto city,” Jerry Sinkler Ford sold a huge variety of cars, something uncommon at the time as manufacturers would often request separate companies for different brands. Sinkler was known around town as the top used-car deal in the county for years, with the slogan “You can buy with confidence at Jerry Sinkler Ford.”

Please be aware that the intersection of Main Avenue and Collins Blvd north of the railroad tracks is currently closed to traffic. The intersection will be closed for approximately 30 days as the road construction project is completed. All local businesses remain open, but please use caution while traveling downtown.
