COMMUNITY HELP NEEDED

We are currently helping a local youth who is in need of a mattress and would love the support of our community.

We are looking for a new or gently used, clean mattress to help make sure this young person has a safe and comfortable place to sleep.

If you have a mattress you would be willing to donate, or if you would like to help purchase one, please send us a private message or call the HUB at 440-536-4070.

Please feel free to share this post to help us spread the word.

Ashtabula County we need your help telling the yO! story!

We’re gathering a few short stories and reflections from people who have been connected to youthOPPORTUNITIES! (yO!), and we would love to hear from you.

If you are a past or present yO! youth, could you share a couple of sentences about:

* How did you first hear about yO!?
* What does the name youthOPPORTUNITIES! (yO!) mean to you?
* What has yO! meant to you personally?

If you’re a community partner, organization, employer, school, or someone who has worked alongside yO!, we’d love to hear from you too:

* What does the youthOPPORTUNITIES! (yO!) name or brand mean to you?
* What impact have you seen yO! have on young people and our community?
* When you hear “yO!”, what comes to mind?

It doesn’t have to be long or formal — just a few honest sentences about what yO! means to you and the community. Your perspective matters, and we would truly appreciate you taking the time to share it. 💙

Please share!!

🌟 Youth Voices Making an Impact! 🌟

We are so proud of Josue Padilla and Sebastian Cedeno for representing the Youth Opportunities (yO!) Program at the OWA Conference in Columbus!👏

Josue and Sebastian had the opportunity to share their experiences and talk about the impact of the yO! Program with conference attendees from across Ohio. They spoke about their journey, the opportunities they’ve been given, and how programs like yO! help young people build confidence, gain valuable skills, connect with employers, and prepare for their futures.

Having youth at the table and giving them the opportunity to share their voices is what youth involvement at every level looks like. 💙

We are incredibly proud of Josue and Sebastian for stepping outside of their comfort zones, sharing their stories, and showing others what young people are capable of when they are given the opportunity to lead.

Wishing them the best of luck as they head into their next session! 🍀👏 We know they’re going to do great!

Way to represent yO! and A-Tech! 🚀
