This dog is absolutely the BEST!! I NEVER let dogs off leash and we had to tear down
her kennel for a deep clean yesterday and she stayed right with me and if I call her she comes right back. It amazes me that she was living under a porch and no one is looking for her. We discovered Monday that she is Lyme positive and has a grade 3 heart murmur with an elevated result on her BNP test so we were not able to proceed with a spay until we get an echocardiogram. This test is $400 and we will need to raise that cost. We are a small rescue and literally just scoot by on most things but somehow it always works out. Every single time you guys come through and help each and every dog find their furever homes as healthy as possible. Thank you for your support ❤️🐾

It’s SPAY & NEUTER MONDAY!! I’m done in Kent with Sadie, Chili and one other dog we transported for another rescue and of course it couldn’t just be a normal spay and neuter but we have learned Sadie has a heart murmur that required extra testing to proceed with a spay. That’s an extra $200 that we did not expect 😩. We need to close this fundraiser that helps our medical needs. Pick a square and donate that amount. Help us continue helping the dogs that are list and abandoned RIGHT HERE IN ASHTABULA COUNTY!!

We think it’s safe to say Cooper (formerly Copper 😊) is pretty happy with his new family!! These are the reminders of the difference we are making in this community. This is the reward of the selfness of being a foster. It’s not easy to let them go but when you do there is room for the next dog to find their perfect home too.

Even if you can take a dog for a day trip, a weekend sleep over or just a ride to get a pup cup….we need you too. This helps the dogs socialize and experience new things. Reach out if you would like to make a difference.
