📣 DUSTY BOOTS RIDING CLUB — NOVEMBER MEETING REMINDER
Our next general membership meeting is November 3rd, and it’s time to elect our Officers and Trustees for the upcoming year!
With some updates made to our Constitution this year, now is a great time to brush up on your Constitution before meeting night. 😉
A few important reminders:
• Members must be 18 years of age or older and have been a member since before the last horse show of the season to vote or make nominations.
• Members may vote by proxy, provided the proxy is signed and submitted in writing at the meeting or emailed to [email protected] at least 24 hours prior to the business meeting.
• To be eligible to run for an office, a member must be 18 or older, have been a member for at least one year, and have attended at least 3 general membership meetings since January 1st of the current year (November does not count toward the 3 meetings).
• Officers are required to participate in more than 50% of club functions and fundraisers.
As always, we encourage our members to be involved, informed, and familiar with the rules that help guide our club.
