The 4H Equine Committee and Altmeyer’s Trailer Sales of Ohio teamed up to fund replacement of the old rotted split rail fence on the north side of the barns with this great vinyl fence installed by Hickory Nut Fencing!

The fencing on the final horse ring is now completed at the Fairgrounds!

We’ve added additional catch basins and drainage to assist in keeping the area around the arenas drier…

In a joint effort with the Senior Fair Board and the 4H Equine Committee, we have added material to bring all of the horse stalls in the Honor Barn & the Arena Barn up to grade…

Thanks to Dylan Hurst and his crew at Hurst Construction for providing a fair price to install and tamp the material in the all of these stalls!

Upkeep at the fairgrounds is a year round project, not just the week before fair…

We are excited to show off our new vinyl fence and gates, installed by Hickory Nut Fencing, for our main horse show arena, the practice ring, and the front Draft Horse Ring!

This project is progressing nicely and should be completed within the next week..

On behalf of the Ashtabula County Fair Board, I would like to thank everyone who joined us for our Dinner and Pictures with Santa last night at the Expo Center at the fairgrounds! It was great to see such a large turnout and look forward to growing this event in the upcoming years!

I would also like to thank the Fair Board Directors, Fairboard Auxiliary members, and our photographer Harlee Hamilton, who all donated their time and resources to make this possible, and the Village of Jefferson for assisting in promoting this event!

The donations raised from this event were donated back to the Fair Board Auxiliary to assist in their ongoing beautification efforts at the fairgrounds…
