After a couple years of discussions, spreadsheets, form submissions, and more legal fees than you could imagine, Your Other Family is now a government-recognized nonprofit organization! The IRS approved our nonprofit, and all membership dues and donations to our ministry are officially tax-deductible, including all amounts given retroactively on our new giving platform. We still have a journey yet ahead of us to close our remaining funding gaps, but this is a huge step forward.

Thomas Mark Zuniga recounts our recently held Your Other Brothers retreat, which focused on God’s call for Abram to “go” – and so, we too are going. Will you pray with us for God's provision, also taking action wherever He prompts?

Our executive director of YOF & Your Other Brothers, Thomas Mark Zuniga, and Your Other Sisters director, Erin, presented a couple months ago at Tom's home church, Fellowship Asheville! We're moved by Fellowship's spiritual, relational, and financial support for our ministry. We believe the Church needs our story; and we also need the Church.

We're praying for rooted connection with more churches and other ministries as we continue to grow support and raise funding this year. If you know of such a church (perhaps even attending one!), please get in touch with us. We'd love to visit you, or video-call with your leadership, or otherwise share more about our ministry's mission of authentic storytelling in Christ-centered community as we integrate faith, sexuality, and gender. Together.
