Asheville Vegan Outreach (AVO) is the newest campaign by Brother Wolf Animal Rescue, the regions largest NoKill animal shelter. AVO believes that ALL beings want, and deserve, to live their lives. At AVO, we have personally experienced the amazing health benefits that come with a switch to plant-based eating, and it feels wrong not to share that with our community. Furthermore, it is undeniable th

at industrial animal agriculture is single handedly destroying our planet. We are determined to do all that we can to share with people the knowledge that their food choices have a HUGE impact on the Earth. In a very friendly and loving way, AVO will actively advocate a vegan lifestyle through various activities such as leafletting, pay-per-view events, hosting documentary screenings, classroom presentations and much more. Asheville Vegan Outreach has seen a future in which we have a planet that can sustain our children, where humans are happy and healthy and a future where sentient animals are not seen as mere commodities. We believe strongly that the road to that future starts on our dinner plates.
