Let's get educated on piano competitions!
Our four experienced and distinguished panel members, Dr. Deborah Belcher, Dr. Sharyn Edwards, Polly Feitzinger, and Dr. Leonidas Lagrimas will answer questions submitted by teachers, students, and parents to help us fill in the gaps and understand the ins and outs of piano competitions. We will leave ample time for questions that come up as well. Jenna Jaffe is the moderator and presenter for this presentation.

Eric Anderson Weigel was not only an amazing young pianist but a spiritual person with career plans to become a doctor. His photographs and writings are preserved on these beautiful bookmarks which are given to the Advanced 1st place winner of the Asheville Piano Competition by Eric’s parents. The competition put on by AAPF is only one of a number charitable events and organizations which are recipients of the Memorial fund his family set up after a tragic accident claimed his life. Anyone who knew Eric or learns about his life grieve that loss.
