So far, this August has offered a chance to slow down, soak in the last days of summer, and prepare for all that the fall season brings.
Our family recently spent a wonderful week together in St. Augustine, Florida, making memories and recalling past ones as this is the origin of our family’s story. My husband and I met while in this “oldest city” 24 years ago completing our doctorate schooling in physical therapy. We enjoyed taking in the sights, eating yummy food and even spent some sweet time with some old friends. Now we’re home, getting ready for school to begin and looking ahead to what promises to be a very full and exciting fall with some new rhythms and routines for our family.
As I reflect on these summer moments, I’m reminded how important it is to make space for connection, gratitude, and simply being present.
We have so much to look forward to in the coming months creating opportunities for breast cancer warriors to feel supported, empowered, connected, and reminded that they are never alone. I’m excited to share what’s ahead with you. Thank you for continuing to be part of this community and for helping us keep the ripple of kindness, hope, and support going.
Today is our Newsletter update and we hope you’ll check out some of the upcoming events we have planned!
