The Michael DiPaola Foundation, an organization formed and run by family members and friends, after Michael's unexpected death in 2014. Proceeds from this race support the Foundation’s efforts to engage in community opportunities and contribute in ways that Michael would have wanted. The Foundation donates to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund, Broadneck Elementary School’s Kindness Committee, th

e St. Baldricks Foundation, and needy local families as well as the Michael DiPaola Scholarship Fund. The Michael DiPaola Scholarship Fund is are annual $5,000 scholarships presented to two Broadneck High School seniors. After meeting criteria, students are nominated by coaches and teachers, and ultimately selected by the school's team of Guidance Counselors. One boy and one girl are awarded $2,500 as a college scholarship(s). Come out and join us for various events throughout the year, and help us give back to the community that Michael loved so much.
