This year’s Do Your Best 5K brought together 365 participants, nearly 100 volunteers, incredible sponsors, families, friends, and supporters — all helping us raise over $45,000 toward our $50,000 goal.

This race was especially meaningful as we honored Katie Filling and celebrated the incredible love surrounding Katie’s Fearless Feat. We are so grateful to everyone who showed up, gave back, cheered, volunteered, donated, and helped make this milestone year one we will never forget.

Today we celebrate Stef’s heavenly birthday. 💗🩵

It’s hard to believe that another year has passed without her here in the way we wish she could be. But somehow, every year, we are reminded that Stef’s impact never left us.

Just a few days ago, we gathered for the 10th annual Stefanie Ashdown Memorial "Do Your Best" 5k.—10 races of honoring Stef’s life by continuing the work she cared so deeply about. And this year, we carried another special person in our hearts: Stef’s dear friend Katie, who passed away in December after her own battle with ovarian cancer.

Stef and Katie met in chemo. Two women who found friendship in the middle of something neither of them should have had to endure. Katie became a part of the Stef Ripple family, supporting the race year after year and cheering us on every step of the way.

This year, we honored Katie and her beautiful spirit as part of the race. And as we celebrate Stef’s heavenly birthday today, may we find comfort in imagining the two of them together again—laughing, catching up, and looking down on all of us with those big smiles, cheering us on as we continue the work they inspired us to do.

Because that is what we will keep doing.
We will keep showing up.
We will keep raising awareness.
We will keep supporting women and families affected by ovarian cancer.
We will keep telling their stories.
And we will keep making sure their lives—and their friendship—continue to make a difference.
Happy heavenly birthday, Stef. 💗
We miss you more than words can say.
And we promise to keep going.

Please join the Stef Ripple family in wishing Stef's daughter Acadia a very happy birthday. 🎂

Twenty years old… and already becoming such a beautiful reflection of the love, strength, kindness, and compassion her Mom poured into her.

She is smart. She is kind. She is loving. She is strong. And she is growing into an incredible young woman who has so much to offer the world.

As she continues her journey through college, pursuing a career in nursing, she is honoring her Mom in one of the most beautiful ways possible—by choosing a life dedicated to caring for and helping others. We know Stef would be beyond proud of the woman her daughter is becoming.

We can only imagine the smile Stef would have on her face today as she watches her little girl turn 20 and take another step toward the future she is creating.

Your Mom’s love is woven into who you are, and her legacy lives on through you in so many beautiful ways.
