A special thank you to Arcata Veterans Hall - American Legion Post 274 and Walker Bailey American Legion Post 205 for riding and walking alongside us.
We are fortunate to live in such an incredible community. The support and enthusiastic response from the crowd for our veterans was a great reminder that the service and sacrifice of our veterans is not forgotten. 🇺🇸

SFC Elden Justus was raised in Arcata and enlisted in the Army soon after graduating Arcata Highschool. He first went to occupied Europe, and then to North Korea. He was last seen leading his men to defend against overwhelming Communist Chinese forces near the Chosin Reservoir December 6th, 1950. He was 23 years old. He was MIA for nearly 70 years until his remains were identified in 2019.. We do not forget.
