ILLUMINATURE UPDATE
We've been overwhelmed in the best way by the positive response to this event. To ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience while caring for and protecting the park we are celebrating we are no longer accepting participant rsvps.
Thank you for your support of the arts! Keep reading below for some important information ahead of the event.
One Procession. One Start Time.
IllumiNature will have one run-through beginning promptly at 8 PM. Please plan to give yourself plenty of time to find parking and walk to the park. Meet us near the playground at Carlson Park.
Parking is Limited.
Bike, bus, or carpool. You can drop off in front of the playground, but the small parking lot will be closed, and parking near Carlson Park is limited, so please plan ahead.
A Few Tips for the Trail.
Wear sturdy, comfortable walking shoes. Dress in warm layers. Bring a flashlight for trail safety. Once IllumiNature begins, though, please turn off your flashlights and phone screens unless needed for safety.
Coming By Bike?
You can leave your bike at The Center for Sustainability, where bikes will be locked during the event. The gate will lock at 7:45 PM and won't be unlocked again until after the event.
A Few Other Details.
Keep an eye on little ones, watch your footing, and avoid using strollers if possible. No dogs, please.
Help us Bring the Park Back to Earth.
We could still use a few more volunteers to stick around after help us take down the installations, gather the lanterns, and return the park to its regularly scheduled reality.
