Today, Redford Ranch Foundation received a MacBook from a Retired Navy Veteran. Not only did Keith replace the MacBook but replaced it with a newer version and year. We can’t thank you enough for your generosity and support! Veterans helping Veterans is the heart and soul of our mission. Keith, you are truly a blessing and we look forward to many more events with you!

Today, our Founder and Co-Founder wanted to share a message directly with our community.

Redford Ranch Foundation was built on the belief that veterans, first responders, and their families deserve opportunities to connect, heal, and find purpose through the outdoors and community.

While we’ve faced our share of setbacks, our mission remains the same, and we’re not slowing down.

Here’s a look back at an unforgettable day on the course.

On June 3, I Gilbert Villarreal the co-trustee of Redford Ranch Foundation was leaving a venue in San Antonio after watching Game 1 of the NBA Finals. After the conclusion of game, I had planned on traveling down to Corpus from San Antonio. However, a group of thiefs had other plans. My personal truck was stolen from the handicap parking spots located directly in front of the business. I used my personal truck for foundation business and covered all cost myself.

Inside were many of the tools and equipment used to support the mission of Redford Ranch Foundation, including my MacBook, cameras, event equipment, tournament materials, merchandise, auction items awaiting delivery, and other foundation resources.

In addition to my personal losses and my employment equipment, several items connected to our recent golf tournament and fundraising efforts were taken.

While this setback is significant, it will not stop our mission of serving veterans, first responders, and their families.

We are currently working through police reports, insurance claims, and inventorying what was lost. We know the chances of us retrieving our items are slim. We are taking one day at a time and waiting for law enforcement to finish the investigation.

If anyone has information regarding the stolen property, please contact local law enforcement.

We appreciate everyone’s continued support and patience as we rebuild.
