The competition is heating up! Tomorrow, classes go head-to-head, and this time we are keeping score!🏆
Please make sure your camper is ready to play:
👟 Tennis shoes are REQUIRED.
❌ Crocs, sandals, or slides are NOT acceptable. Campers without athletic shoes will not be able to participate in the games for safety reasons.
🎨 Wear your class color!

Good afternoon,
Our new staggered swim schedule at the Aransas Pass Aquatic Center was a huge success. Thank you for your flexibility as we adjusted to these new hours!
Next Week’s Swim Test: Campers in Classes 1, 2, and 3 who have permission to take the swim test will be able to do so next week.

🌞 APFY Aquatic Center Schedule Update 🌞

To help ensure camper safety during the summer heat and to provide appropriate supervision at the Aquatic Center, APFY will be implementing a modified swimming schedule each Wednesday for the remainder of camp.

🏊 Classes 1, 2, & 3

* Will travel to the Aquatic Center first.
* Will swim for approximately one hour.
* Will be restricted to the Kiddie Pool ONLY.
* No exceptions will be made.

🏊‍♂️ All Other Campers

* Will depart after the first group.
* Will receive additional swim time.
* Campers wishing to access deeper pool areas must successfully complete the Aquatic Center swim test administered by lifeguards.

☀️ Safety First
This schedule allows us to reduce heat exposure, improve supervision, and provide a safer swimming experience for all campers. Hydration breaks, headcounts, and safety checks will continue throughout the day.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we work to make Aquatic Center Days safe, fun, and enjoyable for everyone!

This schedule will be followed every Wednesday for the remainder of camp.

📢 Friendly Reminder

To keep our campers safe and lines moving, please do not park in the drop-off/pick-up lane. If your camper needs help getting out, please park in the back and walk them in.

Additionally, our drop-off window closes strictly at 8:30 AM.
Late arrivals throw off our class counts and activities. Safety and structure are our priorities—thank you for your cooperation! ❤️

Camp will resume tomorrow. Tomorrow’s field trip is still pending. Aquatic Center Manager will confirm tomorrow morning if the weather permits us to visit. Have campers come ready for the aquatic center, if the trip gets cancelled, campers will change into their change of clothes.

What a great opportunity for kids to learn and make their own income. Campers will be going home with flyers soon!
