We wrapped up last week with a sweet Fun Friday! 🍎🥧🍦

Our APFY kids made their own Apple Pie Cups with crushed graham crackers, apple pie filling, and of course… a little ice cream on top! 😋

Such a simple and yummy way to end our week together! 💙

🍎🧪 The results are in! 🧪🍎

Yesterday, our APFY Latchkey kids became little scientists! 🔬 We placed apple slices in four different environments — air, water, vinegar, and lemon juice — and made predictions about which one would keep the apple from turning brown.

Today, we checked our cups to see what happened! 👀🍏 The kids got to compare each apple, talk about the changes they noticed, and see if their predictions were right.

Learning is always a little more fun when you get to experiment! 🍎🧪❤️

🍎🧪 Little Scientists at Work! 🧪🍎

Today our APFY Latchkey kids are putting on their scientist hats! 🔬

We cut apples into four pieces and placed each one in a different environment: air, water, vinegar, and lemon juice. Now we’re watching to see what happens and which one does the best job of keeping the apple from turning brown! 👀🍎

They made their predictions first, and now we wait for the results!

Hands-on learning + a little curiosity = a fun afternoon at APFY! 💙

🧀🍕 Fun Friday at APFY! 🍕🧀

We put a little twist on a classic. Instead of regular grilled cheese, our kiddos made pepperoni pizza grilled cheese! 😋

Crispy, cheesy, pepperoni-filled goodness—and judging by the smiles, we’d say this Fun Friday snack was a hit! ❤️

Another Fun Friday in the books at APFY! 🍕❤️

Yesterday Mrs. J showed the kids how to make pizza quesadillas on the griddle, and they were definitely a hit!

Fun Fridays are all about adding a little something extra to the end of the week—something fun, something yummy, and more great memories for our APFY kiddos! ❤️
