A heartfelt thank you on behalf of The Woman’s Club of Aransas Pass 💐

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who made this year’s event truly unforgettable. To all who attended, purchased tables, or supported us by sponsoring a table, thank you for believing in our mission and showing up with such generosity and enthusiasm.

A special thank you to the talented individuals, boutiques, shops, and models who shared their time, creativity, and services. Your contributions brought beauty, style, and energy to every moment of this magnificent event.

And most importantly, to our incredible members, year after year, you pour your hearts into creating the stunning baskets, generously sponsoring tables, and coming together to bring a shared vision to life.

This same spirit is reflected in our style show committee members, whose beautiful creations,
guided by Creations by Hope’s vision and creativity, transform the space each year. Through your teamwork, attention to detail, and dedication, every element comes together seamlessly, creating a truly spectacular, show-stopping experience. From the decor…to the baskets…to the runway show itself…this committee puts the “wow factor” stamp on this event each year.

We are so grateful for each and every one of you. Together, you made this event shine brighter than ever ✨

We were honored to welcome Dr. Nelly Garcia Blow of Amistad Health as our February Guest Speaker for The Woman’s Club!

Dr. Garcia Blow spoke passionately about Heart Health & Awareness, sharing powerful reminders that prevention, education, and movement truly save lives. As a board-certified physician in family medicine with added qualifications in geriatrics, she brings both knowledge and heart to the communities she serves.

She emphasized the importance of:
❤️ Staying active — movement is necessary at every age
💪 Incorporating weight training as we get older to maintain strength and health
🫀 Knowing your resting heart rate and being aware of your numbers
🚨 Understanding the importance of CPR — because being prepared can make all the difference

Beyond medicine, Dr. Garcia Blow is a strong believer that volunteerism and service are what truly strengthen a community — and she leads by example.

Thank you, Dr. Garcia Blow, for sharing your expertise, your passion, and your commitment to keeping our community healthy and informed. We are grateful for the work you do!

We were honored to welcome Fernando Quintanilla from our local Harbor Hands 4-H Club as our January guest speaker!

Fernando shared an inspiring update with the ladies of The Woman’s Club about the exciting new 4-H program here in Aransas Pass — including the hands-on projects the students are working on, the club’s goals for growth, and their participation in the Sinton Livestock Show.

What truly stands out is the commitment from Fernando, his family, and the Harbor Hands 4-H youth. They actively support our community by attending local Chamber events like Shrimporee, where the kids proudly showcase and sell their projects, educate others about the 4-H program, and even participate in our local parades.

Their involvement reflects leadership, responsibility, and hometown pride — and we couldn’t be more excited about the positive impact this program is having on our youth.

Thank you, Fernando, for taking time out of your extremely busy schedule to invest in our community and our kids. We appreciate your dedication and look forward to watching Harbor Hands 4-H continue to grow and thrive!
