💙 We’re excited to announce the second grant has been awarded to the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin – Fox Cities!

Their new Connection Center on W. Wisconsin Avenue is a place where children with developmental disabilities and their families can learn, connect, and belong.

Our $5,000 grant will help fund interactive technology and learning tools that support a variety of learning styles, communication needs, and developmental abilities—creating even more opportunities for children to engage, grow, and thrive.

Congratulations to the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin – Fox Cities on this exciting milestone! We’re honored to be a small part of the amazing work you’re doing in our community.

Get ready for our re-scheduled Touch-a-Truck event on Wednesday, August 26! 🚒🚜🚓

🕠 5:30–7:30 PM
📍 Come explore 30+ trucks and pieces of equipment from a variety of agencies and organizations!

Here’s what you can look forward to:
🚁 Flight for Life helicopter landing around 5:35 PM (weather and emergency calls permitting) and staying for about an hour
🏰 Bounce houses, including an 18-foot slide
🚂 Train rides
🍿 FREE popcorn & Kool-Aid
🎶 Music from Jack FM
🦌 Meet Pointer from the Wisconsin Herd
🌭 Brat fry sponsored by Scout Troop 44
🍦 Food trucks with ice cream and sweet treats
🎉 And maybe a few more surprises!

🚧 Traffic Reminder: Noe Road between Midway and Moonflower will be closed from 3:30–8:30 PM for the event.

❤️ Investing in a Safer Community! ❤️

The Kiwanis Club of Darboy is proud to announce our first Community Grant recipient — Harrison Fire-Rescue! 🚒

Through a $2,200 Community Grant, Harrison Fire-Rescue will place an AED and first aid supplies at Darboy Community Park, helping make the park a safer place for the families, children, and community members who enjoy it throughout the year.

📍 The AED and first aid kit will be located in the park pavilion.

An AED can be critical in an emergency involving sudden cardiac arrest, while first aid supplies can help address the everyday injuries that can happen when people are enjoying the park.

This grant represents what Community Grants are all about — reinvesting directly into the communities we serve and creating lasting, positive impacts. 💙

We are excited to see this project come to life and grateful to Harrison Fire-Rescue for helping make Darboy Community Park a safer place for everyone.

And this is just the beginning! 👀

🚨 Flight Night Update 🚨

As of now, we’re planning to move forward with Flight Night this evening! We’re hopeful the rain moves out by 5:30 PM so we can enjoy a great night at the park.

If we’re still dealing with lingering showers at 5:30, some activities may begin a little later than originally scheduled. Our volunteers are still planning to begin setup around 4:00 PM, and we’ll keep everyone updated if anything changes.
