Kids ‘n Kinship is a non-profit youth mentoring organization. Volunteers spend 1-4 hours per week in the community with the child.

Typical activities might include picnicking, attending sporting events, hobbies, baking cookies or going to the movies. Volunteers make a one-year commitment to the program. These relationships often grow into life-long friendships. The program also has a small school-based program at four elementary schools.

These two brothers are lucky to have a new school-based mentor thanks to our amazing volunteer Charlie stepping up to mentor. We couldn't be more grateful for Charlie and the fact that these two are going to have additional support at school!

Tickets for Kids mission is to provide equitable access for low-income and at-risk kids to attend the arts, cultural educational and athletic venues in their community.

We feel that mission reverberate through the work we do at Kids 'n Kinship because it bolsters our mission and vision to connect kids with mentors which then better connects them with their community. Thanks for being a huge part of our community, Tickets for Kids Charities.

We are so grateful for volunteer mentors like Laura & Annette who found out about an opportunity for us to table at the Rosemount Haunted Trail and reached out to tell us they'd man the table. Also thankful that Board Members Nicole Krenner and Stacey Rudoy who joined them to help spread the word that we need mentors for the 40 youth on our waitlist. We have the BEST volunteers and we don't take them for granted.

Emily requested tickets to a U of MN men's basketball game because her own boys and her mentee really enjoy watching and playing basketball and have never been to a Gopher game.

She shared, " The kids loved the atmosphere at the barn. We had great seats, and they were excited about the Gopher players' teamwork. We even made it onto the dance cam and the bongo cam." 🙂

A HUGE thank you to Burnsville Rotary member and long-time Kids 'n Kinship volunteer Laurie Thulien and her adorable grandkids for representing Kids 'n Kinship at the Boo Bash at Prince of Peace on Saturday. We are so grateful for the many volunteers who keep showing up for Kids 'n Kinship when we need them most.
