We are Apopka High School's chapter of the National FFA Organization, an organization that "Reaches from the State of Alaska to Puerto Rico, and From the State of Maine to Hawaii." We are a student led organization that promotes leadership skills through Agriculture Education. We compete in Career Development Events against other chapters and work with our personal Supervised Agriculture Experiences.

🌲🌳 Apopka FFA Takes on District Forestry! 🌳🌲

On Thursday, October 8th, Apopka FFA members Jonathan Small, Braden Marshall, Louis Abel, and Karter Sanchez competed in the Florida FFA District Forestry Contest at Moss Park!
Our members put their forestry knowledge and skills to the test through Tree Identification, Equipment Identification, Compass & Pacing, Timber Cruising, and Measurements! 🌲🧭

We are proud of these members for representing Apopka FFA and continuing to grow their skills in the forestry industry!

💙💛 Congratulations, Megan! 💛💙

Apopka FFA is proud to congratulate our chapter Treasurer, Megan Harrison, on being selected as a finalist for the Agricultural Education CDE! In November, she will teach her lesson at the University of Florida in Gainesville at the state finals!

Pictured here is Megan signing her commitment at the Florida FFA State Convention in June to pursue her dream of becoming an agriculture teacher with Dr. Deb Barry, UF AEC Professor and FFA Advisor, Katie Sanchez. 💙💛 Megan has been accepted to Mississippi State University to pursue a degree in Agricultural Education.
