🚨🚓The 2026 Apopka Youth Public Safety Camp begins in TWO WEEKS!

Does your high school student dream of a career in law enforcement, firefighting, EMS, or becoming a paramedic? This camp gives students an inside look at the exciting world of public safety while exploring future career opportunities with Apopka Police and Fire personnel.

Camp Topics include: SWAT, Fire Suppression, Crime Scene Investigations, Vehicle Extractions, Police K9, Jail Tour, High Angle Rescues, and more!

Summer week 2 staff nominees for NAOMI KIDS student of week were Nate and Jeremiah. The kids voted for Jeremiah as student of the week. They also voted for Mr. Damari for staff of the week.

Jeremiah will be going to 5th grade but is performing at a 6th grade level academically.

Mr. Damari started with us last year as an intern then transitioned into staff. He is passionate about making learning fun for the kids. They all love his math teaching.

It was a busy morning for NAOMI KIDS. First, we had AdventHealth for Children completed Mission 2. Next it was a visit from The Avian Reconditioning Center for Birds of Prey. We are forever grateful for the ability to give the kids hands-on experience.

Today Miss Nyzari stopped by for a "quick" visit. The kids got to play one of our favorite camp games before she walked them through making slime. Ms. Nyzari has been a camp kid, a junior counselor, an intern, and a group leader with NAOMI KIDS before moving away. We love having her pop in.
