From Virginia to Florida to Arizona, our community outreach has taken us across state lines, partnering with organizations such as the Taylor Morrison, Bright Minds, Virginia Federal Credit Union, Department of Corrections and the University of Central Florida.

Our reach is nationwide, but our mission remains the same: to meet people where they are, equip them with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to move forward, and empower them to take ownership of their financial futures.

We did not just talk about rebranding and redefining financial literacy-we reimagined it and recreated it. Today, we are happy to see all of our hard work come into fruition. We can finally showcase the amazing time, commitment, and effort that went into developing a learning experience that is contextualized, relevant, culturally applicable and grounded in real world-application.

There are 15 full courses and over 120 hands on projects for students as well as adults dedicated to financial literacy all on one platform. They are customizable and personalized as well. We truly tried to think of it all and develop it. From entrepreneurship courses to investing academies to budgeting, money mindset, credit, homeownership, NIL, real-world 101 and much more.

We are grateful to Elevate Solutions, dba Elevate Skills academy and Jigify for helping us bring this work to life. Today, all of the hard work, research, data points, creation and innovation converge.

This weekend, we had the distinct pleasure of bringing financial literacy to the reentry program for the Florida Department of Corrections.

A special thank you to Lt. Graham, TBCIN Comeback Initiative, and Officer Owens for opening the door and allowing us to serve as part of this important mission.
We met so many women preparing for their next chapter—women with dreams, goals, determination, and a desire to build something different for themselves and their families.

And it reminded us that reentry is about more than returning. It is about rebuilding
confidence. stability. financial independence. and the vision for what comes next.

Financial literacy has an important place in that process and should be part of the comeback because when someone is given another opportunity, they also need the knowledge and tools to navigate it.

We talked about money, but the conversation was really about choices, ownership, preparation, and possibility.

At NuJourney Foundation, we believe financial education should meet people where they are—and help equip them for where they are going.

To every woman we had the privilege of serving: your past may be part of your story, but it does not have to define what you build next.

Are we building the financial knowledge of student-athletes at the same speed we’re building their opportunities to earn?

Because access to money is not the same as knowing how to manage it.

A NIL deal can create income.
Financial education can help turn that income into impact, ownership, and long-term wealth.

As the NIL landscape continues to grow, student-athletes need more than opportunities to earn. They need the knowledge to:

Budget with purpose. Understand contracts. Protect their brand. Prepare for taxes. Invest for tomorrow. Build a trusted team. Plan beyond the game.

Talent may open the door.

Knowledge can help keep it open.

That’s why our work through the Wealth Locker Room is bigger than teaching athletes about money. It’s about preparing them to make informed financial decisions while the opportunity is in front of them—and long after the game ends.
