Soroptimist International of the East Valley (SIEV) is part of a global volunteer network of clubs in 130 countries and territories, working together to change the lives of women and girls in our local communities and around the world. Our primary focus is to help ensure women and girls have access to the education and training they need to reach their full potential and live their dreams.

Today, June 1st, we recognize Stand for Children Day and celebrate the importance of supporting, encouraging, and empowering young people to reach their full potential.

At SIEV, we proudly stand for children through our Dream It, Be It program, which helps young girls build confidence, set goals, and discover the opportunities available to them for a successful future.

When we invest in our youth, we invest in a brighter tomorrow. 💜✨

Today, SIEV pauses to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.

Memorial Day is more than the start of summer — it is a day of gratitude, reflection, and remembrance for those who gave their lives for the freedoms we enjoy each day.

We also hold close the families, friends, and loved ones who carry their memories forward with strength and pride.

Today, SIEV had the honor of attending the 2026 Apache Trail High School graduation and celebrating the incredible achievements of these graduates! 🎓💙

Watching these students walk across the stage reminded us why we do what we do — supporting women and girls as they work toward their dreams and brighter futures. Many of these ladies participated in our Dream It Be It Program throughout the school year.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! Your hard work, perseverance, and determination have brought you to this moment, and we can’t wait to see all the amazing things ahead for each of you. 🌟

On May 8, 1914, President Woodrow Wilson signed the proclamation officially designating the second Sunday in May as Mother’s Day. 💐

More than a century later, we still pause to celebrate the women who love fiercely, guide gently, support endlessly, and shape generations with their strength and compassion.

Today we honor every mom, grandmother, stepmom, foster mom, bonus mom, and mother figure who makes the world a little brighter. ❤️

Sisterhood. Friendship. Joy. 💛

One of the greatest gifts of being part of Soroptimist of the East Valley (SIEV) is the incredible sisterhood that grows along the way. We come together to make a difference in the lives of women and girls — and in the process, we build lasting friendships filled with laughter, support, and sweet moments like this one.

These two Soroptimist sisters took a little time to enjoy each other’s company (and some delicious ice cream 🍦), reminding us that while we work hard to uplift others, we also celebrate the friendships that uplift us.

Because at SIEV, it’s more than service… it’s sisterhood. 💕

SIEV’s Big Goal Accelerator Project — Completed! 🎉

We’re excited to share that Soroptimist International of the East Valley successfully completed our **Big Goal Accelerator Project**! Thanks to the generosity and dedication of our members, we delivered **$403 in hygiene products** to **Apache Trail High School in Apache Junction** to support local students in need.

Access to basic hygiene items can make a meaningful difference in a student’s confidence, attendance, and success — and we’re proud to help uplift and support our community in this way.

Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make this project a success. Together, we continue to make a difference — one step closer to our Big Goal! 💛
