At Good Shepherd, our mission is twofold: to rescue, restore, and find forever homes and/or sanctuary for equines in need, and to offer transformative equine-assisted programs for individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. Established in 2011 as a horse rescue initiative, we operate as a 501c3 charitable organization, driven by compassion and dedication to the well-being of both humans and horses.

Dakota has been a beloved part of Good Shepherd for many years, and now he's facing some mobility challenges with his stifle arthritis. We're working to raise $2,500 for X-rays and injections that could help him move more comfortably and enjoy his days here a little longer. 🐾
