ACMPO Ankeny Choral Music Parent Organization is a nonprofit that supports Ankeny Hawks choral music participants in grades 6-12.

Ankeny Choral Music Parent Organization aims to ensure that every 6th through 12th grade Ankeny Hawk choral music student has the opportunity to thrive in a vibrant, inclusive, and enriching choral music environment, through advocacy, volunteer support to directors, and fundraising efforts.

ACMPO is looking for someone special... YOU! Nominations are now open for our 2026-2027 ACMPO Board and we think YOU would be a perfect fit! No special skills are required — just a willingness to be part of our amazing and outstanding choral music programs.

Our board is open to any parent or guardian of an Ankeny Choral Music student in grades 6th through 12th at Parkview, Southview or AHS — including curricular choir, show choir, show band and crew!

As the end of the school year approaches, we at ACMPO (Ankeny Choral Music Parent Organization) are reflecting on all the amazing things we’ve achieved together and we can’t help but give a big, heartfelt thank you to you — our many supporters, families and friends.

Each of you have been a huge part of our success and we couldn’t be more thankful for all you have done to make this year one of the best yet.

To celebrate the many successes of both our choir programs and Ankeny Choral Music Parent Organization (ACMPO), we have created a full-color, 8-page ACMPO Annual Report where you can find all the details on our choir programs’ success as well as a breakdown of ACMPO’s budget, fundraising, volunteering and all the ways we supported our programs in 2026.

🌟 Choir auditions will take place THIS WEEK and we need volunteers to help watch the doors each evening. Bring a book!

🌟 State Large Group Festival will be held at AHS on Saturday, May 9th. This event requires A LOT of volunteers to make it run smoothly.
