•Horses for Heroes
Dedicated to serving active-duty military and veterans who have experienced or witnessed trauma that has negatively impacted their lives and is difficult to talk about and process. This program offers an equine experience as well as a safe place to build community. With their non-judgmental nature, horses act as a mirror for veterans to process their emotions in a way that brings inner healing and confidence.
•Therapeutic Riding
Dedicated to serving individuals with disabilities who deserve to be loved as they are. Horses see past disabilities and provide a safe place to the beautiful souls they interact with, enhancing their well-being. Horses have an extraordinary ability to connect with individuals in ways that words often can't. As Riders look into the Horse’s eyes and touch their coats, they truly feel seen and understood. SoléAna Stables is here to show our military community and individuals with disabilities that they are not alone, nor forgotten. Active-duty military, veterans, and individuals with disabilities have difficulty accessing resources that are suitable to their specific needs, leaving them feeling hopeless and alone. •Intellectual & Cognitive
Horses are a big motivator for our Riders to learn new things! Riders with goals focused on learning or cognitive development benefit from improved attention, concentration, patience, coping skills, and discipline.
•Physical
The physical benefits of riding a horse are numerous. A horse’s three dimensional movement is similar to the gait of a human, giving the rider the feeling and mental images of walking. Our Riders have shown improved balance, muscle tone, motor coordination and overall trunk strength.
•Emotional
SoléAna Stables fosters an environment that helps Riders confront anxiety and fears while improving their general well-being, self-esteem and confidence. Riders have a chance to develop new skills and are surrounded by their fellow Riders, Heroes, Volunteers and Instructors that celebrate and encourage every success.

Therapeutic riding activities not only promote the development of respect, responsibility, perseverance and love toward animals, but the positive attitude that the student acquires improves family and social integration. Lessons provide the challenges that our Riders need to achieve success in an atmosphere that is enjoyable and always positive.
