This morning at The Center, we had the privilege of celebrating & honoring our very special guests, OUR VETERANS! 🇺🇸
We were delighted to welcome local Musician, Val Roger’s, students from the Andover Elementary School PAL Program, & our wonderful resident supporters.
Our morning began with a delicious breakfast graciously catered by the Cheney Tech Culinary Department. Val then led us in the Pledge of Allegiance & the singing of our National Anthem.
The students shared a special reading of the book, “Thank You for Your Service,” a beautiful reminder of the importance of honoring those who have served our country. We also enjoyed Val’s special performance of “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” a sweet time of fellowship, and the presentation of handmade cards created especially for our veterans by the students and our residents. There was also time for questions, conversation, and sharing.
It was a beautiful morning filled with pride, appreciation, and heartfelt gratitude. A special thank-you to everyone who helped make this gathering so meaningful.
To our veterans, thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your dedication to our country. We are so grateful for you, and it was our honor to celebrate YOU today!
❤️🤍💙
