💜 Introducing AES's AMAZING Paraprofessionals! 💜

Today we're shining a spotlight on some truly incredible women who make a difference in our school every single day!

Ms. Megan, Ms. Kegler, Ms. Shea, Ms. Amy, Mrs. Nalette, and Mrs. Palmer, Mrs. Mike, Mrs. Legrand, Ms. Jamie!

These ladies bring so much heart, kindness, patience, strength, and compassion to AES. They support, encourage, celebrate, comfort, and go above and beyond for our students every day.

Their impact goes far beyond the classroom, and we are so lucky to have them as part of our AES family!

Thank you for all you do and for the difference you make in the lives of our students! 💜

Help us show these amazing Paras some love! 👏

📢 The People Behind the PTA: Meet Jamie! 📢

Hi, I’m Jamie! I’m a mom, an AES parent, and a paraprofessional right here in our school. 💙

This year is pretty special for me it’s my 6th year with the PTA and my 5th year serving as Vice President! I honestly can’t believe how quickly the years have gone.

I love being part of our AES community and having the chance to see it from both sides as a parent and as someone who gets to be here with our students and staff every day. There’s something pretty special about being part of a community that shows up for our kids.

The PTA isn’t just meetings and fundraisers (although there are definitely plenty of those! 😉). It’s about creating fun memories for our kids, supporting our teachers and staff, bringing families together, and doing the little things that make AES feel like a community.

I’m so excited for another year with this amazing PTA team and all of our AES families. And if you’re new to the PTA, have been around for years, or have been thinking about getting involved come join us! You don’t have to have tons of time or make every event. Every little bit helps, and we’d love to have you. 💙

Here’s to another great year at AES! 🥰📚✨

A message from our friends at the Andover Recreation Commission!...

🎃👻 ANDOVER HALLOWEEN EVENT – WE WANT YOUR IDEAS! 👻🎃

The Andover Recreation Commission is working on a new kind of Halloween celebration for our community, and we want to hear from you!

This year, we're planning to host our Halloween event on Halloween night — Saturday, October 31, from 5:00–7:00 PM, around the back of the Andover Community & Senior Center.

Instead of a quick stop to grab a bag of candy, we'd like to create a fun, festive community event where families can trick-or-treat a few stops here along their rout. Families with smaller children may choose to make a night of it!

🎃 What we're planning so far:
🍬 Approximately 10 spooky trick-or-treat stops featuring local businesses, organizations, and community groups
🎃 Pumpkin decorating
👻 A spooky sensory station where brave visitors can reach into the box and feel spaghetti guts and grape eyeballs!
☕ Hot cocoa & hot apple c***r
🍩 C***r donuts
📸 Photo booth
🎶 Music
…and we're hoping to add even more Halloween fun!

🧡 WE WANT TO HEAR FROM THE COMMUNITY!
Do you have an idea for an activity?
Would your business or organization like to host a trick-or-treat table?
Would you like to volunteer?
Have supplies, talents, or resources you'd like to contribute?

Join us for a virtual community planning meeting!
📅 Thursday, October 8
⏰ 7:00 PM
💻 Via Zoom
Come share your ideas, ask questions, or simply learn more about what we're planning. You don't have to be a member of the Recreation Commission to participate.
