AES staff modeling and practicing a closing circle after a day of professional development. A closing circle is a way for a classroom community to gather and reflect upon their day or discuss concerns in a restorative manner.

Hello Friends and families. We hope you are enjoying your summer! Please see the attached message from our friend Susan Camoroda.

Please join us on July 8, 2026 at the Town Hall Gazebo at 6:00 pm to participate in a reading of the Declaration of Independence to commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the first reading at the State House in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Just as the Declaration of Independence was read to the people for the first time on July 8, 1776, now, Americans in all 50 States, 5 Territories, DC, US Minor Outlying Islands and wherever they may live throughout the world, will read the Declaration of Independence ‘together’.
The American spirit, principles, and values memorialized in the Declaration of Independence continue to hold true today.
The “self evident” “truths”, then, “that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” are valid today, as are the personal and collective responsibilities we share in protecting and perpetuating these values.

We will divide up the reading among those who show up to participate. If you would like additional information or to confirm your participation please contact Susan Camoroda, Municipal Veterans Representative, at [email protected].

Andover residents, please come out and vote today for our school budget.
Our school is already facing significant staffing cuts, including positions in Spanish, library services, paraprofessionals, and more. These cuts don't just affect programs they affect our children, our educators, and our community.
Many of the staff members impacted are Andover residents, our neighbors, friends, and families. Please consider the impact these decisions have on both the students who rely on these services and the people who dedicate their lives to supporting them.
Let's invest in the future of our children and support our community. Thank you for your consideration and your vote. ❤️💙📚🏫

Friends and Families I’m sure everybody saw the mailer again today from the first Selectman encouraging people to further cut the school. We already know we’re going to be facing deep cuts already and would really appreciate all of you making the time on Tuesday to go vote. If we can’t get the budget passed on Tuesday the next vote will take place when school is out and families are on vacation.

Please remind Friends and Neighbors to vote! Please feel free to hang a complementary sign to let the kids know we’re still fighting for them
