🚌 As the school year begins, please expect increased traffic during arrival and dismissal times. We ask everyone in the community to use extra caution when driving near schools, crosswalks, and bus stops to keep our students safe. 🚌

🚸 Traffic Advisory for Andover High School, West Middle School, West Elementary, and Shawsheen Preschool families 🚸

Water main work at the intersection of Lowell Street, Shawsheen Road and Beacon Street is ongoing and will continue through the fall. Please plan for anticipated delays and follow the directions of the Andover MA Police Department and on-site flaggers when traveling through the area.

Congratulations to the Police softball team! APD defeated Fire Rescue 17 to 5. Both teams enjoyed a collective cookout after the game.

All 6 probationary firefighters have started their thirty day orientation/training that will then be followed by 30 days of ride time before obtaining a group assignment.

Fire Department has been rapidly growing over these last couple years with the addition of a third ambulance in Ballardvale which allowed for multiple new Firefighter positions and a new assistant Chief position!
