As the sun sets on another successful Scarecrow Festival, we want to extend a special thank-you to the AHS freshman who came out Sunday morning to help us dismantle the scarecrows! We're so grateful for the extra hands and community spirit.
Thank you also to our sponsors for helping ACE bring innovation to Andover Public Schools, and to all of the community groups, schools, and businesses whose creativity brought this year's theme to life!

Sanborn is still in the lead with 28% of students contributing! The final countdown is on! Pumpkin patches close TONIGHT, October 31, and there’s still time to show your school some love.

The last two days to see the 2026 ACE scarecrows are upon us! Come check out this creative beauty from the Temple Preschool and others before the festival ends tomorrow night!

🎃 The Pumpkin Cup race is heating up! Sanborn is leading at 24%, with Shawsheen close behind at 19%.

There are just 2 days left to donate! Patches close the evening of Saturday, October 31. Each pumpkin is a $10 donation, and 100% of proceeds support ACE’s mission to invest in APS students.

🏆 How the winner is decided: The Pumpkin Cup goes to the school with the highest percentage of pumpkins per enrolled student, keeping the competition fair across schools of different sizes. Every pumpkin counts, and even a handful of last-minute donations could change the standings!

Brad Wright of ACE sponsor Launch Financial Planning stopped by to snap a selfie with his scarecrow, created by Doherty Middle School’s 6th graders!

Inspired by this year’s theme, Sowing the Seeds of Liberty: 250 Years of Bold Ideas, the students designed an astronaut scarecrow to represent American curiosity and frontier spirit of innovation that has driven astronauts to explore outer space.

We loved having Andover High School Theatre Arts join us for the ACE Scarecrow Festival kickoff with a pop-up performance and preview of their upcoming production of Peter Pan! Their impressive vocals and acting gave us a great taste of what’s to come.
