At The Value Village Collective (VVC), we believe that investing in our educators and youth is one of the most powerful ways to build a thriving community. We were honored to support and contribute to yesterday’s Career Readiness Summit alongside co-hosts Jennifer Woody and Marci Skillings, as well as incredible regional partners!

Bringing together educators across Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens counties to strengthen career pathways across the region aligns directly with our mission to empower the next generation.

VVC is thrilled to celebrate the dedicated educators who work tirelessly every day to prepare students for bright futures. Thank you to everyone who made this event such a success, including fellow partners Rogers Group Inc., Learning Blade, and Edmentum.

winners were drawn for our annual “polio bingo.” Members shown won points toward Paul Harris Fellow awards. Thanks to Amelia Nelson, third from left, for organizing this annual fundraiser that furthers Rotary International’s quest to wipe out this crippling disease

What an incredible experience at the AOP Business & Industry Showcase hosted at the Anderson Civic Center! 🌟

Our VVC team had the absolute privilege of attending and volunteering alongside an incredible network of employers, agencies, and educators. Throughout the week, 8th-, 11th-, and 12th-grade students from across the Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens School Districts explored exciting career pathways, engaged in hands-on demonstrations, and learned directly from industry leaders shaping our region's economic growth.

A special shout-out and thank you to title sponsor Arthrex, as well as Jennifer Woody, who did an outstanding job organizing this event, bridging local employers with school districts, and inviting us to participate!

At VVC, our non-profit mission is centered on empowering individuals and families with completely free community services. Whether you are looking to build credit from scratch, repair past credit challenges, or navigate the path to homeownership, we’re here to support you every step of the way. 🏡📊

The Value Village Collective had the privilege of attending the 2026 Veterans Stand Down Event, and it was truly special connecting with our local heroes and hearing their powerful stories.

Today, The Value Village Collective attended the Safety Net Council Meeting at Foothills Community Healthcare. We loved spending time with local partners who share a common goal: showing up for one another and creating real, positive change across our community.

Big things are brewing for 2027! 🚀

Yesterday, our team had a fantastic planning meeting with Dwayne Bowes from Paragon Hotel Company—and of course, our CEO Baby, Cairo (aka "Sugar"), was right there keeping everyone on task! 🍼👶✨

We are deeply grateful for community partners like Paragon Hotels who believe in the vision of The Value Village Collective. It’s because of strong, dedicated partners like them that we can continue offering our programs and resources free to the community and expanding our impact year after year.

2027 is going to be an incredible year for VVC and the families we serve. Stay tuned for what’s to come! 💙
