Here’s the link to the September 4, 2026 Lionel Hampton tribute concert featuring the 2026 Sitka Jazz Faculty Quartet. The quartet includes internationally renowned musicians including John Damberg on drums, Cleave Guyton on alto sax and piccolo, Matt King on piano, and Christian Fabian on bass with special guest vocalist Heather Gluth. I hope you will enjoy listening to this inspirational concert.

You are invited to attend the AJW Jazz fighting hunger concert featuring the all stars of jazz in Anchorage on May 23 at 7 PM in the Anchorage Museum to benefit the Food Bank of Alaska. More info at www.akjazzworkshop.org. Admission is $20 adults and $10 for student seniors and military.

Here's the schedule for the AJW Summer 26-AJW Jazz Concerts on the lawn of the Anchorage Museum from 12 noon to 2 pm on Saturdays from May 30-August 15.

The AJW, in partnership with the Anchorage Downtown Partnership, Ltd. is celebrating their fifth summer of presenting great free outdoor jazz community concerts at South Central Alaska's only dedicated summer jazz performance venue featuring local Alaska professional and student jazz bands.
