The Arts Extension Service is pleased to announce that it has received a Cultural Investment Portfolio grant (CIP) from the Massachusetts Cultural Council for FY27 in the amount of $11,500.

"We are grateful to Massachusetts Cultural Council and their staff for their ongoing support. The CIP is particularly important as it can be used for any purpose, and for many arts organizations; it covers the mundane costs that donors are not enthusiastic about but are fundamental to operations. For AES, CIP funds partially support marketing our classes online and marketing our events and courses on campus."

The Massachusetts Cultural Council is a state arts agency that receives funding from the National Endowment for the Arts and the Massachusetts legislature.

Interested in a career in arts administration? 🎨

The Arts Administration concentration within the MS in Management program at UMass Amherst’s Isenberg School of Management combines core management and leadership skills with specialized coursework focused on the arts and cultural sector.

📆 October 1st is the priority application deadline for spring semester. If you’re considering the program, now is the time to apply.

Priority applicants receive benefits including $90 application fee reimbursement, priority access to course registration, additional time to plan finances, and early access to upcoming career and professional development opportunities.
