Over 50 vendors: crafts, farms, and European goods! Live music and dance performances with German flair.

Have some hot brats with sauerkraut, pierogi, cheesy raclette or goulash... Top it off with lebkuchen, stollen, and more sweet treats... Visit our Weihenstephan biergarten offering a selection of beer, and hot gluhwein (delicious spiced wine).

Wow! 🤩 Here’s an example of the original Christmas markets in Germany. Markets like this are what inspired the founder of the Amherst German Christmas Market, years ago.

As a 100% volunteer nonprofit committee, it has taken lots of hard work by our dedicated and passionate team to create our event! We have many European elements infused into our event, and it continues to be a goal to add more authenticity every year. We hope to get closer to the “real thing” someday. In the meantime, we have created a charming and festive small-town market, blending American AND German holiday traditions. We hope you enjoy the market and as always, thank you for your support!
